Looking for the right gear

Life is like riding a bicycle – a constant search for balance, direction, and the right gear. That's precisely what the program we developed together with experienced coaches focuses on.

Finding the right gear requires a tailored approach. As an example of what a program can look like, we'd like to mention a four-day trip in the Dolomites. We'll spend 4-6 days traveling through the Dolomites, from Innsbruck to Innsbruck. We'll determine the number of days together. This isn't just to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of this mighty mountain range, but above all, to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of daily life, clear your head, and focus on what you truly want to achieve in your life and work. At Cyclosportive, we believe the bicycle is more than just a means to conquer mountains or rack up the miles. It's also a powerful metaphor for daily life and work. During our trips, we invite you to experience not only physical challenges but also personal growth.

About the journey

Cycling isn't just a physical challenge; it's also a powerful metaphor for life. It helps you reflect on your goals, energy, and direction. During these 4-6 days, you'll discover how to shift gears in life, how to maintain balance, and which direction you want to take. You'll cycle into a new era.

• Where do you get the strength to climb a mountain?
• How do you motivate yourself when things get tough?
• When do you switch on and when do you switch off?
• How do you enter a descent with confidence?

Our program offers you the unique opportunity to consciously experience these things and translate them into your work and daily life. This will make you stronger, wiser, and more resilient – both on and off the bike.

We'd love to connect with you to discuss your needs and create a personalized program. Location, date, number of days, one-on-one time, small group time—we'll decide together.

For all our trips we indicate which level of cyclist the trip is suitable for.
The journey can be given 1, 2, 3 or 4 mountains to indicate how difficult the journey is.

What does the journey look like?

You work on yourself with the coach, we organize the rest.
– Overnight stays
– Breakfast, lunch and dinner (excl. drinks)
– Great Routes (gpx)
- Bedding
– Sports nutrition and sports drinks
– Technical support at finish areas for minor repairs
– If the journey is not completed, transport to the train station, bicycle/luggage transport is possible

– Drinks consumed on site
– Technical assistance on the route
– Guidance by means of a support vehicle
- Insurances
– Travel is based on your own transport to Innsbruck

During the trip, we'll sometimes stay in simple mountain huts, but also in comfortable accommodations. The mountain huts provide the basics:
– Shower & toilet
– Breakfast & dinner
– Of course a bed and bed linen

There's no choice of single or double rooms in the huts. As with any true adventure, it is what it is, and you have to deal with it. Sometimes we'll have a double room. Other times, we'll stay in a cozy dormitory.

During "Finding the Right Gear," we'll be cycling extensively, and of course, there will be plenty of rest time. It's a relaxing yet intense outdoor program. We'll connect cycling metaphors to situations in your (work) life and provide you with tools to help you return from the Dolomites stronger.

Where do you get the strength to climb a mountain?
On the bike, you feel how important it is to manage your energy, find your breath, and believe in yourself. The same applies when you're facing a major challenge in life or at work.

How do you motivate yourself when things get tough?
Those moments when your legs are burning and the summit seems far away are precisely the situations that teach you to persevere. The power of small steps and the reward of perseverance will carry over into your daily work.

When do you switch on and when do you switch off?
Cycling is all about balance. Sometimes it's time to push yourself harder, sometimes it's time to ease off the gas. Recognizing these moments will help you not only on the bike, but also in your professional and personal choices.

How do you descend with confidence?
Just as you learn to trust your technique, your equipment and yourself on the bike, you can also take risks and take new steps with more confidence in life.

Our trips offer you the unique opportunity to consciously experience these things and translate them into your work and daily life. This will make you stronger, wiser, and more resilient – both on and off the bike.

Sports medical certificate

It is not mandatory, but it is wise to have a medical certificate signed at a Sports Medical Center. A sports medical examination costs money, but it is oh so important to know whether you can participate in this grueling journey in a healthy way. You will be fully or partially reimbursed for such an examination through the supplementary insurance of many insurance companies. To make it easy for you, To create this, CYCLOsportive has entered into partnerships with various Sports Medical Centers in the Netherlands. Click on the button to see which parties we work with and where you can have the medical certificate signed.
