We'd like to invite you to join us for a training session in Girona, led by gravel pro Piotr Havik. Piotr will be exploring the gravel routes around Girona from January 12th to 17th. No gravel experience is required. Gravel pro Piotr Havik will teach you the ropes.

Specific training guidance at various levels. Includes competition preparation, technique training, and (nutritional) tips & tricks.

For any partners who would also like to join and cycle less than the ladies/men, Merida Miller (friend of Piotr Havik) will offer a special program.

Kickstart Girona is designed to give your season a boost with a fantastic week of training. We'll provide routes of various distances. We're still working on the final program. As soon as it's finalized, we'll publish it here.

Preliminary programme:

DAY 1, January 12
Arriving in Girona, after checking in we will pick up the rental bikes and there will probably be time for a short ride of approximately 2 hours.

DAY 2, January 13
We'll be heading out with gravel pro Piotr Havik for an 80-100 km ride. During the ride, he'll teach the group the tricks of the trade on gravel.

Day 3, January 14
The third day is all about "Chasing Piotr." This is a training day for Piotr, and you're invited to train with him. That is, if you can keep up. A 120 km route. We also have alternative routes available this day, or a shortcut if Piotr's grueling work gets too much for you.

Day 4, January 15
Piotr will take us for another 80-100 km ride and teach the group some more fine gravel tricks.

Day 5, January 16
A day without Piotr is also nice! A day where we'll ride a last beautiful gravel route of 80-100 km together with you.

Day 6, January 17
After a great week of training we travel home again.

As always, we have a program at CYCLOsportive, but nothing is mandatory. We're happy to help you think of alternative routes. If you'd prefer to go your own way, that's also possible.

The trip to Girona is perfect for cyclists who want to train well under the Spanish sun this winter. They want to give their season a real kickstart. With a week of training in the Spanish sun, you'll build a solid foundation for the rest of the season.
