Cima Coppi

Cima Coppi is a breathtaking cycling adventure through the north of Italy! You fly to Milan, once you arrive in Milan, a bus will be waiting for you, ready to take you directly to the starting point of Como.

For 8 days, including a well-deserved day of rest, you will take up the challenge and cross countless breathtaking, challenging and legendary climbs off your bucket list before finally arriving in fairytale Venice.

After a night in Venice, our bus will take you to the airport, and you will begin the final leg back home. With a suitcase full of lasting memories!

About the journey

Eight days of epic rides. Overnight stays in three or four star hotels where you can enjoy Italian cuisine. Under expert guidance from CYCLOsportive. Travel in luxury to Milan with only hand luggage. We transport luggage and bicycle. The support vehicle is always nearby to support you during the rides!

For all our trips we indicate which level of cyclist the trip is suitable for.
The journey can be given 1, 2, 3 or 4 mountains to indicate how difficult the journey is. 

What does the journey look like?

CYCLOsportive wants the participants to enjoy themselves to the fullest. We bring sports nutrition, there is a masseur present. The mechanic present takes care of the bicycle. We provide beautiful routes. We will cycle with the cycling guide and accompanied by the support vehicle. All you have to do is cycle, we will take care of the rest!

With CYCLOsportive we will stay in three or four star hotels. Spend the night in style, in beautiful places where it is wonderful to arrive after a day of cycling. Of course, there must be a good meal in the evening. We will do this in the hotel restaurant or in a good restaurant in the city where we are staying.

Day 1:
For the participants this is the travel day to Como. After dinner we will inform the group about the program.

Day 2:
On day 2 we will leave at 8:30 am for the first group ride. A ride of 125 km with an elevation gain of 2180 metres. Along the way we will conquer the Ghisallo and visit the Madonna del Ghisallo. THE kind of pilgrimage for cyclists.

Day 3:
On day 3 we will start the ride again at 8.30 am. A ride to Ponte di Legno. The day of the Passo Mortirolo! After the ride, you hand the bike over to the mechanic and the masseur is ready to help you get your legs back in order for day 4.

Day 4:
After breakfast we start a short drive to Lago di Santa Giustina. On the way we climb the Passo di Tonale. A ride of 60 km with an elevation gain of 960 metres

Day 5:
Well-deserved rest day at Lago di Santa Giustina.

Day 6:
On day six another great day on the bike. From Lago di Santa Giustina you set sail for Corvara in the heart of the Dolomites. The Passo Mendola and Passo Gardena will be conquered along the way on a ride of 115 km with an elevation gain of 3130 meters.

Day 7:
If all is well, the body is tired and a voice in your head screams for rest. But the body is now used to the rhythm. As soon as you start cycling again, the tired feeling will quickly go away and you can enjoy a beautiful ride again. From Corvara you climb the Passo Campolongo, then the Pordoi and the Passo Fedaia! WOW! After 87 km the legs get the deserved rest again.

Day 8:
For two more days you can enjoy all the beauty that Emergency Italy has to offer you as a cyclist. A ride of 102 km with an elevation gain of 2380 meters takes you to Feltre. Along the way you will pass the peaks of Passo Duran and Passo Staulanza.

Day 9:
One more day on the bike, one more day of enjoyment! On this day you cycle to the end point of your cycling trip, Venice. The day starts with a great climb of Monte Grappa. After this climb there is little climbing left. Head out to Piazza San Marco in Venice!

Day 10:
All good things come to an end. You leave with a suitcase full of memories. See you next time!

Sports medical certificate

In order to participate in the trip, it is mandatory to have a medical certificate signed at a Sports Medical Center. A sports medical examination costs money, but it is oh so important to know whether you can participate healthily. You will be fully or partially reimbursed for such an inspection through the supplementary insurance of many insurance companies. To make it easy for you, CYCLOsportive has entered into partnerships with various Sports Medical Centers in the Netherlands.
