Together with TUI Sports and CYCLOsportive you can escape the hustle and bustle of normal life during the Dolomites Escape! The Dolomites have a special place in our hearts. The impressive rock formations, the picturesque mountain villages, the Italian food. These are just three elements that make the Dolomites a great cycling destination. We will show you the beauty of the Sella Ronda, the magic of Lago di Misurina and the fabulous view of the Passo delle Erbe.

Our five-day cycling tour from Badia to Badia offers an unforgettable mix of sporting challenges and natural beauty. So grab your bike and prepare for a journey full of excitement, wonder and unforgettable moments in the heart of the Dolomites!

About the journey

With the Dolomites Escape we do not stay in one place. After the day of arrival we cycle the Sella Ronda together with you. The next day we leave Badia and cycle via Lago Misurina to Innichen. After two days of cycling you can take a rest day or make a short ride to the top of the Prato Piazza. On day four we continue to the top of the Passo delle Erbe where we will also spend the night. On the last day we return to Badia.

For all our trips we indicate which level of cyclist the trip is suitable for.
The journey can be given 1, 2, 3 or 4 mountains to indicate how difficult the journey is. 

What does the journey look like?

CYCLOsportive wants to let the participants enjoy themselves to the fullest. We bring sports drinks, there is a masseur and mechanic present. We offer beautiful routes. We will cycle with the cycling guide and be accompanied by our support vehicle.
All you have to do is cycle, we will take care of the rest!

In double rooms, with two single beds.

Of course that includes a good meal in the evening. We will eat this in the hotel restaurant.

Day 1:
For the participants this is the travel day to Badia. After dinner we will inform the group about the program.

Day 2:
On day 2 we leave at 9:30 for a joint bike tour. We start with the Sella Ronda. With the Passo Campolongo, Passo Gardena, Passo Sella and the Passo Pordoi perhaps the most beautiful round in the Dolomites
Tour: 60 km, 1800 meters of elevation gain

Day 3:
On day 3 we leave at 9:30 for a joint bike tour. Via the Passo Falzarego and the Tre Crocci we pass the beautiful and enchanting Lago Misurina on our way to Innichen.
Tour: 70 km, 1500 meters of elevation gain

Day 4:
On day 4 we stay in Innichen. Do you want to make this a rest day? Absolutely right. Do you still want to enjoy cycling? Then the ride to the Prato Piazza is on the program. A ride of 35 km including a small piece of gravel (can be done with a racing bike). The view from the terrace of the Dürrensteinhütte is priceless!
Tour: 35 km, 900 meters of elevation gain

Day 5:
On day 5 we leave at 9.30 for a relatively short ride of 55 km. In those 55 km you will conquer the Passo Furcia and the Passo delle Erbe. At the top we spend the night at Utia Börz.
Tour: 55 km, 1900 meters of elevation gain

Day 6:
Another day to enjoy the beautiful landscape of the Dolomites. After a long descent, the road goes up again from Colma. On the way to Badia you can choose the Passo Lion and the Passo Gardena or for a less difficult route by skipping the Passo Lion. Is this day one too many for you? There is also an alternative of 30 km.
Tour: 80 km, 1800 meters of elevation gain

Day 7:
On day 7 we wish all our guests a successful journey back home.

Want to cycle more per day? That's possible! We have routes with different distances, but above is the basic program.

You must be in good shape to participate in the Dolomites Escape. Do you have to be a semi-pro? No! Because we plan a rest day halfway through the trip and have a support vehicle at our disposal, every trained cyclist can take on this challenge! Are you a real tough guy? Then we have a nice challenging round in store for you on the rest day!

Sports medical certificate

It is not mandatory, but it is wise to have a medical certificate signed at a Sports Medical Center. A sports medical examination costs money, but it is oh so important to know whether you can participate in this grueling journey in a healthy way. You will be fully or partially reimbursed for such an examination through the supplementary insurance of many insurance companies.
